Philanthropy

Every fraternity has their own philanthropy. Lambda Chi Alpha's philanthropy is Feeding America. Feeding Amercia is a network of food banks that provides food through direct donations and also many diverse programs. Our chapter is partnered with the Great Cleveland Food Bank and makes donations at least once every semester. However, we do not just fight hunger. Our brothers also particpate in and donate to other philanthropic efforts on campus and help a wide variety of charitable causes as a result. Here's a look at some of the philanthropy work we have done during 2016.

Spring Semster 2016

Our brothers held three events for Feeding America last semster: the Facutly Soup-er Bowl, Penny War against Hunger, and Glow in the Dark Sports. In total, we raised $575.50 and over 600 pounds of food to help fight hunger in America!

Our basket theme for BW's Dance Marathon was "College Survival Kit" and included items, such as ramen and a nice sparkly microphone, that no respectable student should be without. Dance Marathon is held yearly on many college campuses and all money raised goes to the Children's Mircale Network.

In recognition of "I Love to Read Month," we donated over 40 books to the Berea Public Library last February.
